This piece began as an experiment I’d been wanting to explore for some time. The idea was simple but compelling: use a fluid simulation’s velocity field as the driving force behind multiple systems. The motion of the fluid would push vellum hairs, translate into shifting color, and also dictate the birth and movement, of particles.
